Khloe Kardashian wants out.
Not only does the youngest Kardashian sister want a divorce from her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, she now wants out of the magnificent Tarzana area home she once shared with the troubled former NBA star.
The property at 19011 Ashurst Ln has been listed for sale for $5.499 million as the 29-year-old reality TV star declares her desire for a new start.
“I love the new year, new beginnings,” Kardashian told Cosmopolitan UK. “I need a good fresh start; I’m excited for this year to be over with.”
The listing comes about one month after Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom, whom she accuses of abusing drugs and cheating on her. She kicked Odom out of the home back in August, after which the marital disintegration played out on the small screen, with many scenes filmed inside the splendid Mulholland Park residence.
The couple bought the 8,400-square-foot house for $3.95 million in December 2009. Kardashian then oversaw a complete makeover that has helped turn the house into a showpiece.
The Mediterranean compound sits in a cul-de-sac and is surrounded by huge grassy lawns, a dramatic courtyard and resort-grade swimming pool with gorgeous covered patio areas for dining and entertaining.
The home contains 6 en-suite bedrooms outfitted with “exquisite designer details” including textured wallpaper, tumbled stone and mosaic accents. The master suite showcases city views and boasts custom built-ins and a mosaic-tiled fireplace.
The spa-like master bath has dual sinks, a spa tub and a shower with personalized temperature settings. Three custom-built walk-in closets complete the room.
