Coral Gables Museum hosts 'The Big One', a collection of Hurricane Andrew photos

The Coral Gables Museum presents "The Big One: Photographs by Barry Fellman," opening Friday, Sept. 5 with a collection of photographs, on view for the first time, illustrating Hurricane Andrew's destruction of the Kendall Tamiami Airport in 1992.
Fellman, a Miami native and professional artist and photographer, captured the shocking images 22 years ago in the weeks following the infamous Category 5 storm and created prints with large format color transparency film.
Admission is free for members and children under 6, $7 for adults, and $5 for seniors and students. On view through Sunday, Sept. 7 in the museum's Community Meeting Room.
