He’s earned eight Olympic medals and even danced with the stars, but there’s no slowing down for Apolo Anton Ohno. While training for the 140-mile Ironman World Championship, the speed skater has listed his South Jordan, UT home for $569,900.
Located at 9762 S King Benjamin Dr, the 4,607-square-foot house is a custom 2-story with an oversized 3-car garage. The interior has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, a private master balcony, gourmet kitchen and covered patio.
There’s also a gym in the basement, which Ohno likely used while training for the 2007 U.S. Senior Short Track Speedskating Championships in nearby Kearns, UT. The Seattle native took time off after the world championships in March and then returned to “serious training” four months later, according to The Seattle Times. The timing matches his purchase of this home in June 2007 for $522,750.
Ohno’s father, Yuki Ohno, is handling the sale of the house. Scott Pexton of Chapman-Richards & Associates, Inc. is the listing agent.
