A house at 34 LaGorce Circle in Miami Beach sold Monday for $14 million, setting a record price per square foot for Miami-Dade County, according to the listing agent, Danny Hertzberg of The Jills Team at Coldwell Banker.
The buyer wasn’t disclosed.
The 1941-vintage house, which has 6-bedroom and 6-baths, spans 4,846 square feet and sits on a 22,912 square foot lot with wide bay views. It will likely be knocked down.
The sales price amounts to $611 per square foot for the land (or $2,889 a square foot for the house.)
Hertzberg, 31, is the son of luxury superbroker Jill Hertzberg, who with Jill Eber, the other Jill in The Jills Team, held the previous record per square foot. They represented both seller and buyer in the December 2013 sale of 2550 Bay Avenue on Sunset Islands. That property fetched $529 a square foot for the land (or $2,230 a square foot for the house, which was a knockdown.)
“My mom said if anyone broke the record, she’s glad it was me,’’ said Danny Hertzberg. “She just bought me a bottle of champagne.’’
