Ivana won the mansion in the divorce, and subsequent owners added a tennis court, lap pool and sauna.
When you think back on the halcyon days of The Donald and Ivana, you might picture them and their three young children at this weekend estate in Greenwich, CT.
They arrived at the 5.8-acre spread in the 1980s, around the time Ivana was redecorating the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.
She also did a number on the Greenwich home.
“Decor-wise, it was all gold leaf — all of this was gold leaves all over the place,” Tamar Lurie of Coldwell Banker, the agent for the home’s current $54-million listing, told the Connecticut Post. “It was kind of dramatic.”
Ivana was awarded the estate in the Trumps’ 1991 divorce and sold it several years later. The current owner subdued the decor and built a tennis court and a 4,000-square-foot addition featuring guest suites, a lap pool and sauna.
The home, which sits on a private peninsula in Long Island Sound, now measures a whopping 19,773 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 11.5 baths. Three are three fully equipped staff apartments.
